BLOG TOUR REVIEW ~WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE BY GIANA DARLING~

Title: Welcome to the Dark Side
Author: Giana Darling
Series: The Fallen Men #2
Release Date: April 20, 2018
I was a good girl.

I ate my vegetables, volunteered at the local autism centre and sat in the front pew of church every Sunday.

Then, I got cancer.

What the hell kind of reward was that for a boring life well lived?

I was a seventeen-year-old paradigm of virtue and I was tired of it.

So, when I finally ran into the man I'd been writing to since he saved my life as a little girl and he offered to show me the dark side of life before I left it for good, I said yes.

Only, I didn't know that Zeus Garro was the President of The Fallen MC and when you made a deal with a man who is worse than the devil, there was no going back...

This is Daddy Zeus Garro's story from Lessons In Corruption. A standalone in The Fallen Men Series.
Zeus and Lou have stolen my heart!! This is the first book I've read by Giana Darling, and you can bet, I'll be devouring the rest of them just as soon as I can. Welcome to the Dark Side is dark than dark, Z and Lou are like a cataclysm, and this book had a strangle hold on me from the very first heart-pounding page, through that one crocodile tear inducing scene, past those intensely fierce erotic moments, until the very last word. Intense, right? This book is all that and more.

With an almost forbidden taste to it, but an overwhelming need for the two main characters to ride off into the sunset (literally) Z and Lou's story whipped me through every emotion on a higher level than I ever thought possible from a book. Sad, happy, angry, enamored, all those words are far too dull for the tumultuous upheaval this book takes a reader through.

Don't let me dissuade with this warning, but this book is very dark, very crass, and very ugly at times. But that's what made the good times so much better. And as for that previously mentioned crocodile tear inducing scene...well, I have a few words I'd like to give the author over the outcome of that scene. But for all my heartache over this book, it gave me a thousand times more happiness and excitement while reading it.

To say I loved Z and Lou's story would be the understatement of the year. I more than loved it. It is one of those books that made me immensely sad when it was over, and wishing I could read it for the first time all over again. But alas, I will hold Zeus and Lou in my heart, until I can hopefully revisit them in an upcoming Fallen Men book, because I WILL need more of them! And I can't wait to see what Giana Darling has in store for the other characters of this series!

Happy Reading!

REVIEW ~VOYEUR BY FIONA COLE~

Title: Voyeur
Author: Fiona Cole
Release Date: April 26, 2018
I didn’t know she was my student the first time I paid to watch her at Voyeur.

Once she walked into my classroom, another smiling college freshman, I knew I should stop going. Stop watching.

But I couldn’t do it. Everything about her makes me want more, and once I realize she wants me too, the temptation becomes irresistible.

The worst part is that she has no idea her professor is the one watching behind the glass.

I just have to hope that once she finds out the truth, she wants the same thing I do. Because now that I've seen all of her, I can't look away.
Fiona Cole's Voyeur is fresh-voiced and captivating. This book was absolutely nothing like what I thought it would be. With two tortured characters in, Oaklyn and Callum, the story weaves together high emotions, stunning sexual tension, and a gut-wrenching journey.

Every touch between Callum and Oaklyn is forbidden in one form or fashion. But that makes every moment they share together more thrilling and sexy, and even more intense. That intensity comes with a reality that neither was prepared for and sets off a domino effect in their lives.

This book is a must-read. It's thought-provoking and angsty. And the the more Callum and Oaklyn get lost in each other, the more I got lost in the book.

Happy Reading!

NEW RELEASE REVIEW ~COLD BY MAX MONROE~

Title: Cold
Author: Max Monroe

Series: Stone Cold Fox #2
Release Date: April 22, 2018

MY RATING: 5 STARS
I wanted a second chance. What I got was a repeat.

She was too beautiful. Too smart. And her emerald green eyes saw too much.

I wanted space-she took it away.
I craved her lips-she gave me her kiss.
I screwed it up-she got smart.

Avoiding me is the right thing to do. I'm messed up, tortured, and probably always will be.
But I still want her.
Her mind. Her body. Her heart.
I want it all.

And this time, I'm in control.
No matter what I have to do, I will make her mine.

Note: Levi and Ivy's story will continue in Book Three-Fox.

Can a heart break from a book? If so, this book might have done it. Book one in this thrilling trilogy, made my heart hurt, book two, made me cry, I'm not sure I can handle a book three. But then again, those emotions are the traits of a wonderful read for me. I was so completely immersed in these characters and their lives I felt every ounce of pain and happiness that they did. Levi is a broken man, only made whole by Ivy and her love, and the ability her love has given him to be stronger than the past that haunts his every waking and sleeping moment. Ivy... well she's made stronger by Levi as well. They shouldn't made sense together, but they do, and when they do, it feels oh so good.

But when the drama comes down in COLD and that cliffhanger left be slack-jawed I wanted to curse and screw and have a few choice words with the authors. All I can say is a book that makes me feel that much, is worth reading. I will absolutely be tuning into the finale of the STONE COLD FOX trilogy, but I may need to stock up on tissues, alcohol and chocolate to make it through. Until then, I'll be in reader rehab revisiting my "light and fun" shelf to give my heart and mind a break from the amazing and wicked rollercoaster ride that was COLD.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW ~SOMETHING SO UNSCRIPTED BY NATASHA MADISON~

Title: Something So Unscripted
Author: Natasha Madison
Series: Something So #4
Release Date: April 2, 2018

My Rating: 5+ STARS
Zack

Finding my teammate in bed with my wife made the decision I had been fighting with for years easier.

It’s time to move on.

A fresh start and a new NHL team in a big city. Most importantly, it’s my son Jack’s best shot.

It would be both of our best shots.

Denise

After a bad childhood, I made sure I would succeed, so I lived for my job.

The problem is I die a little with each patient I lose. It’s part of my career at Hudson Children’s Oncology Hospital, but it doesn’t make the sting of loss any easier.

Seeking anything other than a life saved isn’t on my agenda until a NHL player walks into my hospital with his son.

We’re officially off script the moment we meet.

If this love is anything, it’s unscripted.

I'm positive this book broke my heart and then melded it back together. Natasha Madison has created an utterly gut-wrenching, soul-stealing, mind-racing story that just about stole every breath from my lungs. I wish I were kidding, because it hurt that much more once I came to those final words "the end" in Something So Unscripted.

This book follows the lives of three main characters: Zack, Jack and Denise. The former two hold Denise's heart in a vise grip. But NO this is not anything close to a love triangle. You see, Jack is Zack's young son. A son whom Denise has been approached to work miracles for. But along the way, the closeness between Denise and Zack, and the innate mothering she shows Jack just squeezed my heart and made me feel ALL THE FEELS. GAH! I can't with this book. Every good character I wanted to see more of, and every adversary got so many evil eyes from me, if they were real they should feel the utmost of shame.

This book had it all. The sexiest and sweetest hero I've read in a very long time. The most equally vulnerable and bada-- heroine. Together they have the most undeniable and addictive chemistry, the sex was off the charts and their G rated moments are beyond touching. And finally, a little boy that will steal your heart. AND THAT EPILOGUE!! TEARS. SO. MANY. TEARS.  This book is a must-read. Hands down a winner that would win any reader over.

Happy Reading!

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her…

COVER REVEAL ~MISTER TONIGHT BY KENDALL RYAN~

Title: Mister Tonight
Author: Kendall Ryan
Release Date: June 18, 2018
From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a standalone romance about a swoony single dad and the new neighbor he falls for.

Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.

I was THAT girl.

You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth with her two best friends—the ones who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.

By reckless, I meant the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, and handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I'd had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I'm not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like French fries, so there's that.

He took me home and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life, well until it came to a screeching, and rather unwelcome halt.

There's nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking:

"What are you doing to my daddy?"

Just kill me now…... or so I thought.

Come to find out the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.

A New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of more than two dozen titles, Kendall Ryan has sold over 1.5 million books and her books have been translated into several languages in countries around the world. She's a traditionally published author with Simon & Schuster and Harper Collins UK, as well as an independently published author. Since she first began self-publishing in 2012, she's appeared at #1 on Barnes & Noble and iBooks charts around the world. Her books have also appeared on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists more than three dozen times. Ryan has been featured in such publications as USA Today, Newsweek, and InTouch Magazine.
