You never forget your wedding day. Or the moment your twin sister pukes on your bouquet and confesses she’s pregnant . . . with your fiancé’s baby.

I wanted to get away, to hide until my heart mended. I found myself in a strange town with a mysterious stranger whose talented mouth and hands almost made me forget it was supposed to be my wedding night.

Afraid to go home to face my broken life, I pretend to be my twin so I can take her job in Jackson Harbor caring for a six-year-old girl. Imagine my surprise when I find out my new boss is my mysterious stranger—Dr. Ethan Jackson.

I never meant for Ethan to discover my secrets. I never meant for them to matter. But the longer I work with him and his sweet daughter, the harder I fall, and the clearer it becomes that I’m not the only one carrying a secret that could tear us apart.

Get ready to fall for the boys of Jackson Harbor in Lexi Ryan’s sexy new contemporary romance series. These books can all be read as standalones, but you’ll enjoy reading them as a series!
Oh, this book made me feel ALL THE FEELS!! Lexi Ryan has long been one of my top favorite authors, but I think she's outdone herself to a whole new level with THE WRONG KIND OF LOVE! First off, single dad romance is one of my favorite tropes right now. Secondly, adding in the nanny angle, just made if even more up my avenue. Ethan and Nicole are something... when they're together it's perfect, and undeniable and just blissful for my reader heart. But the getting there, and the climax of the book just gutted me. The beginning... well... As much as Lexi Ryan can write character that I love and adore, which include Ethan and Nicole completely, the beginning of this book proved to me she can write mean, spiteful and irredeemable characters just as well. I mean WOW do I have a strong distaste for two of the characters in this book! BUT I don't want to waste anytime on them. I want to revel in the goodness that is Ethan and Nicole, because their story is worthy of being told. Sweet and sexy. Emotional to the ends of the earth. I wish I was kidding about that last part. I had to mentally prepare myself everytime I picked up this book. And I couldn't read it for too long of periods because it was overwhelming, IN A GOOD WAY, I promise. But it would just consume every bit of my mind, and if I didn't enforce breaks, it would have been over far too soon for my likely. So I had to savor it.

If this is what I can expect from the rest of the series, I need to grow a tougher skin. This book did a number on me, and I loved every minute of it!

Happy Reading!
