RELEASE DAY ~DRUNK ON YOU BY HARPER SLOAN~

Title: Drunk On You

Author: Harper Sloan
Series: Hope Town #4
Release Date: September 12, 2017
It was supposed to be fun.

A mutual use of each other's bodies.

To be a ruse to the world around us.

I wanted to be free from my ex, and he wanted to escape his.

One drunken night turned a joke into a life-changing moment.

He warned me not to fall for him, and I should've listened.

He intoxicated me.

He made me crave him.

He ruined me.

In the end, I'll never be the same.
I can't say precisely what it is about this book, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was Harper's best book to date. Shane is just SO. FREAKING. HOT. Holy crap. That man takes SEXY ALPHA to a NEW LEVEL. And of course Nikki is no slouch, she gives just as much as she takes. These two are nothing less than combustible. Their erotic moments are layered with deep emotions and an excellent plot as can be expected having read the previous Hope Town books. I thought Dani and Cohen would be my #1 forever, but now they're sharing that spot with Shane and Nikki. Harper Sloan has always been known to deliver a hot, steamy book, but she really outdid herself this time. Even putting aside the sex (which is just YIKES HOT) Nikki and Shane just and an instant connection. They see similar worries and scars in the other, but that makes them just that much better at dealing with the crazies of each other as well.

All told, this book has edged into my TOP FAVES of the year. In the top 3 for sure. I can't wait for more HOPE TOWN, each time I dive back into a new book, I almost don't want to read it because I know it will be over too soon. This will be a weekend re-read VERY SOON!

Happy Reading
