Sigh.... The love and hate with these characters, really one character in particular, is strong. I LOVE this book so, so much. But Levi can be a cold a-hole, but then he gets in the heat of the moment, or in a sweet moment with Ivy and I loveeee him. Ivy is a much easier character for me to form opinions about: she's bold and sassy and I am on her team 100%.
This story is unique, intriguing. It's a culmination of past and present, when Hollywood invades a small town to capitalize on one of its darkest times. A dark time for both the town and especially for Lexi Fox. There is still so much to learn and experience after the first installment in the Stone Cold Fox trilogy, but STONE was a mind-blowing beginning that devoured my every waking moment until I hit the words THE END, which came far too soon.
Levi and Ivy are tumultuous to say the very least. But Max Monroe has set up this book to where I am DYING for more of them. To say I'm ready for COLD is a slight (meaning massive) understatement. This is already a must-read series for me and we're only in book one. So buckle in, bookworms. This ride is now where near finished, and I have a feeling there will be a lot of cursing, swooning, and iPad throwing before it's over.
