Harper Sloan once again succeeds in making me fall head over heels in love with her characters. Jaded Hearts is somewhat of a spinoff of her Hope Town series. It explores Chance's story (he's Cohen's best friend) as he works security for one of the hotted bands, Loaded Replay. Chance and Wrenlee (the frontwoman for Loaded Reply) hit it off in epic fashion, and as such the tabloid take the story and run with it. They'r engaged. They're married. They're expecting. Typical tabloid BS. But what started out as a rouse very quickly develops into something both Wren and Chance were never expecting, but somehow feels oh so perfect.
Per usual you can expect high levels of angst, and pure ecstasy between the pages of Ms. Sloan's latest awe-inspiring novel. But what you can also expect is a new twist on the rock band love series that will make you wholeheartedly fall for every member and lust after there forthcoming stories.
Wren and Chance melt into one another, and thus your heart as well. I couldn't get enough of them, and want so much more! I'll be waiting with bated breath for Jamison's story and Wes' and Luke's as well. Those men are hotter than sin, but they'll have to bring their A-Game to steal me away from Team Chance!
