Series: Reckless & Real #2
Author: Lexi Ryan
Release Date: March 3, 2015
My Rating: 5 STARS!
This book, much like its predecessor, had me all tied up in knots. The love, the hate, the loathing, the sex, the lust, the everything! A downright whirlwind of emotions floods through you when you read this series. Liz and Sam have broken every rule, shattered every preconceived notion about each other and the world they live in, and against all odd are determined to be with one another. Why? When it comes with so much heartache? Liz said it best "the alternative hurts more." Even give the shitty, and unimaginable hand they've been dealt they find some way to persevere. Unfortunately for them there's always one sneaky little rat waiting to destroy them all over again.
I can't express how much I connected and became obsessed with Sam and Liz's romance. Not because they're ordinary people, with ordinary things happening to them, quite the opposite. But because Lexi Ryan uses her keyboard as a weapon and makes you feel every last lash against the hearts of her characters that she makes. And yet, just has I felt every "floor falling out from under me" moment, she gives the good stuff back in triplicate. All in all, an absolutely torturous, yet fulfilling and loving ending to Sam and Liz's story. Enough angst that made them work for it, and prove their love, and enough love to satisfy ALL the feels.
Happy Reading!

THE RECKLESS & REAL SERIES
Meet Lexi:
Once a college English professor, I now write full time. I live in rural Indiana, where, when I’m not writing, I get to hang out with my husband and two kids–a six-year-old boy and a two-year-old hellion, er, girl. Not surprisingly, reading and writing remain my favorite activities, though both come in bits and pieces these days, not the big hunks of time I enjoyed before I had children. When I’m feeling virtuous, I like to go running (I use that word liberally. I’m really, really slow) or do yoga. Don’t worry, I’m always careful to balance out such activities with a hearty serving of ice cream or a chocolate martini.
