Wowzers. Heated took the series to another level. I FLOVED Wanted, but Heated just took the number one spot for me. Tyler is alpha, yet sweet. Domineering, yet kind. The perfect man, really. Sloane is his equally perfect match. She's gutsy, tough, with a soft side a mile long for Tyler. In a world were these two should have only crossed paths under very different circumstances, they defy all odds with their attraction. At the beginning they are polar opposites. A straight and narrow cop, and a bending-the-rules businessman. Their physical attraction may have brought them together, but they teach each other some very valuable lessons and grow into a powerhouse couple.

Sloane is on a mission to find a mutual friend that she shares with a very dear friend. Her ticket to the truth is none other than consequence-escaping Tyler Sharp. Tyler has his foot in all kinds of businesses. One of which is a strip club, where said mutual friend you used to work and subsequently disappeared from. Tyler steps up to help Sloane out. Of course, nothing comes free. Tyler wants Sloane's body and attention until they clear up this mess. Sloane can't even begin to protest because she wants Tyler just as much. Their heated relationship soon turns serious as the stakes are upped in the search for her friend. Everything and everyone is a free game and there's no telling who will come out the victor.

It has been a while since I've fallen this hard for a couple. Tyler and Sloane are just amazing. They're upfront and honest. They don't hide their feelings or their worries. What you get from them is chemistry that cannot be rivaled and a relationship that may have started physical, but quickly turned  into a permanent thing. They sacrifice equally for each other and make it to where they can have everything. This book is highly erotic in a bone-melting way. Tyler and Sloane use every available surface to their advantage. Not only are they the perfect match in bed, or against a wall, but I felt like they knew each other before they had even met. Their personalities and lives made this a bad idea from the start. It just proves when the right person comes along, it always brings out the best. It was a semi insta-love/lust situation that captivated me. I remember in my review for Wanted I said I couldn't wait for Cole's book, but Tyler just made this a game changer. He's the absolute front runner for me so far. Don't worry, Evan you've still got a special place on my bookshelf ;) If this series keeps getting better and better I'm not too sure I can handle it. Heated is an absolute MUST READ!
